Askins & Askins, P.C.

Knox W. Askins was born July 19, 1937, in Houston, Texas.  He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1962.  He is also admitted to practice before the U. S. Supreme Court and the U. S. District Court, Southern District of Texas.  He

received his Bachelors degree in 1958, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1962, from the University of Houston.

While a law student, he was elected Chief Judge of the Honor Court and to the Order of the Barons, legal honor society.  He received the American Jurisprudence award in Administrative Law, and the W. St. John Garwood award for scholarship.  He was a member of Delta Theta Phi fraternity.  He has been City Attorney of the City of La Porte since

1965.  He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.  He is former General Counsel and Chairman of the former Bay Banc

Shares and Bayshore National Bank.  He is a former fee attorney for Ticor Title Company.  He is a past-president of the La Porte Chamber of Commerce and La Porte Rotary Club, and is a Paul Harris Fellow.  He is a Fellow of the Texas

Bar Foundation.  Among his pro bono clients is La Porte Chapter, Habitat for Humanity.  He has lectured on Municipal Law at the University of Houston Law Center.  knox@askinslaw.com

Clark T. Askins was born in Houston, Texas, on January 30, 1972.  He was admitted to the Statr Bar of Texas in 1999.  He graduated from La Porte High School in 1990, where he was President of the National Honor Society.

He received his Bachelors degree from Wheaton College, cum laude, in 1994.  He was a member of the debate team

at Wheaton  College.  He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from University of Houston Law Center in 1999. He is Assistant City Attorney and Municipal Court Prosecutor for the City of La Porte.  He is a member of the La Porte

Rotary Club, and is acive in civic affairs in the La Porte community.  clark@askinslaw.com
